One of many fun adventures in the kitchen inspired by a collection of seventy-two dolls from around the world. Links to recipes of what we ate at our Japanese dinner party.
You have heard my story about eating in Japan. I won’t retell it. There is one type of dish I really liked. Meats are cooked over a small grill. The problem was I never figured out how to ask for that in a way my host could understand.
Thank you for your note! It’s a quote and sentiment I love, and it’s surprising how often regular life rushes in after a trip and that space for reflection gets compromised. I’m always eager to talk with people after they’ve traveled with the hope of gleaning insights from their experiences!

I would just like to go anywhere without complications and distractions. :)
Loved the dinner story, especially.
Japan is on my bucket list too 😊 Loved this! And storing the quote about reflecting on travel when you get home.

Really enjoyed this, Jessica, thank you. I quoted it in notes :-)
Thanks! It feels good to know little ideas take on bigger meaning when people read them. I enjoy your friendship here so much!
As do I! 💚🙂
