Beautiful. What is the meaning of 108 for the sun salutations?

108 is a number that’s considered sacred and lucky and auspicious in Hinduism and Buddhism so is also part of yoga practices. I led a community practice of doing 108 sun salutations, or physical prostrations done through a flow of poses, every spring and fall equinox for many years ☺️
